Folding Edge Protection
At Apex Height Safety Ltd, we can supply and install folding edge protection systems which are ideal for historic and listed buildings and where the use of permanent scaffold-type rails and fall protection systems are not suitable.
Using an innovative folding mechanism comprising a strong, reinforced hinged bracket and removable stainless-steel lynch pin, this unique edge protection system can be collapsed and made completely flat when not in use.
It is quick to assemble and can be easily lowered and raised by 2 operatives at a time, typically erected in 10m sections. As the folding guardrails and handrails form a completely freestanding system, there’s no need for the penetration of roof coverings or surface membranes during the installation process.
